Tactical key
Salkilld wants this at the end of his jab and kicks, making Saint Denis pay on the way in and attacking the neck in every scramble, the trap Pimblett sprang on his first shot. Saint Denis has to turn his entries into top position and elbows early, before the longer man settles into range. Every takedown he holds shifts the fight toward Saint Denis.
Tactical key
Chagnaadorj's route is the one that beat Mangos on the Contender Series: change levels early, hold top position and bank rounds. Mangos has struggled to stop takedowns, but he is most dangerous off his back and in scrambles, where triangles, reversals and back takes turn defence into offence. If the exchanges end in scrambles rather than long spells of top control, his finishing threat takes over.
Tactical key
Both semifinals turned on the same tension: Dhant was out-wrestled for long stretches but landed the heavier shots, while Tajima gave up position yet out-worked his opponent. Tajima's longer reach and steady volume should bank rounds at range, so Dhant needs to make the exchanges short and violent, punishing the entries and turning any scramble into top position before the scorecards settle it.
Tactical key
Suzuki's speed and variety with punches, kicks and knees have stopped seven straight opponents, so the open exchanges at range belong to him. Jiniushiyue's path runs through the clinch and the scrambles, where his pressure and timely reversals won his quarterfinal, but every entry he makes has to cross the range where Suzuki's left hand and body kick land.
Tactical key
Park has dropped the opening round in both tournament fights before taking over with pressure, elbows and conditioning, and against a veteran with Meng's size and timing that slow start is the habit most likely to cost her. If Meng banks the first five minutes and makes Park pay on the way in, the late surge has to be decisive rather than merely steady.

Yes. The UFC announced Quillan Salkilld vs. Benoit Saint Denis as the five-round lightweight main event. Salkilld (13-1) is unbeaten in six UFC fights and headlines on home soil; Saint Denis (17-4) brings a finishing record built on pressure and submissions. The four Road to UFC Season 5 finals fill the prelims, and each winner earns a UFC contract. Card order remains subject to change.
UFC experience describes the size of the available sample, not the chance of winning. A short UFC record leaves more uncertainty about how a fighter performs against different styles. Opponent quality, recent changes and missing statistics also matter; five bouts alone do not establish that a prediction is well calibrated.
Limited UFC sample
<3 UFC Bouts
Fewer than three UFC fights. Analysis leans more heavily on pre-UFC performance patterns and fighting style.
Developing UFC sample
3-4 UFC Bouts
Some UFC evidence is available, but a few matchups can strongly influence the averages. Check opponent quality and the limitations in each analysis.
Established UFC sample
5+ UFC Bouts
More UFC observations are available. This does not guarantee predictive accuracy; changes in opposition, injuries and style can still limit the estimate.
Note: All fights receive thorough analysis regardless of UFC experience levels. Analyst conviction is an editorial assessment, not a measured probability or statistical confidence interval.
Yellow marks the editorial favorite. The comparison shows that estimate against the probability implied by each quote. Gap is in percentage points (pp), includes bookmaker margin, and is not expected return. These estimates are not calibrated model outputs.
